Carisma Aesthetics is a medical aesthetics clinic on the St Julian's waterfront, inside the InterContinental Hotel at St George's Bay. The medical team

The medical team is introduced on the clinic's site. Dr Giovanni Scornavacca is an Italian aesthetic doctor trained and experienced in Italy, with an interest in regenerative approaches such as PRP. Dr Francesca Chircop is a London-trained aesthetic doctor with eight years in medical aesthetics and a background in orthopaedic surgery, whose philosophy is restoration rather than change. Dr Zaid Teebi is a medical consultant with more than thirty years of experience in general medicine, geriatrics and allergy.

Face treatments

The face menu includes dermal fillers, lip fillers, wrinkle relaxing injections, thread lift, chemical peels, mesotherapy, collagen stimulators, microneedling, polynucleotides, Profhilo, PRP therapy, hair regrowth, fat dissolving and HydraFacial, plus an exosome glow lift. Each is explained at consultation, and your doctor recommends only what is appropriate for you.

Dermal fillers use hyaluronic acid to restore volume and refine contours of the cheeks, jawline, nasolabial folds and chin. A session takes about 20 to 45 minutes with minimal downtime, results are visible immediately and last around six to twelve months. Prices start from €219 per ml, or from €399 for 2 ml. The clinic also offers a free follow-up review after treatment. Your doctor decides whether fillers suit you, for example if you take blood-thinning medication or are pregnant, and a skin booster or peel may be recommended instead.

Laser hair removal and body treatments

Laser hair removal uses an Alma Soprano triple-wavelength laser with ICE Plus cooling to keep sessions comfortable. It starts with a free skin and hair assessment and a patch test. A session takes 15 to 30 minutes, with no downtime, and a typical course is six to eight sessions. Prices start from €25 for the face, €35 for arms and underarms, €39 for bikini and Brazilian, €49 for men's areas and €69 for legs. Six-session memberships cost €139, €245 or €399 depending on session length. Minors can be treated only with a parent or guardian present.

The clinic also offers body treatments including pico laser tattoo removal, laser pigmentation removal, medical weight loss, fat freezing, muscle stimulation, skin tightening, anti-cellulite treatment and lymphatic drainage. These are assessed individually, and your doctor will advise on suitability.

Packages, membership and gifts

Packages on the menu include Snatch Your Jawline, a four-in-one HydraFacial, the Exosome Glow Lift package and the Ultimate Facelift. A membership called the Glow Club lets you save into a balance every four weeks and spend it on treatments and products, with member discounts.

E-gift vouchers start from €50, can be any treatment, package or set amount, and are delivered instantly or on a date you choose.
