Paceville Pub Crawl is a guided night out through the heart of Paceville, the compact cluster of bars, clubs and late-night streets that forms Malta's best-known nightlife district. The district sits in St Julian's, on the north-east coast, and the crawl is built for visitors who would rather arrive with a guide and a group than work out where to go on their own.

Each night takes guests through three bars and two clubs, with a drink at every stop, a handful of drinking challenges along the way and a guide who keeps the group together. How the night works

The evening starts at Barbie Lounge in St Julian's, where guests meet their guide and the rest of the crew from 9:00 PM. In summer, Friday and Saturday crawls also start at 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM, which spreads the crowd across two departures on the busiest nights.

From there the group moves through five venues: three bars and two clubs. You get a welcome drink at each stop, five in total on the standard ticket, plus drinking challenges and plenty of chances to meet other travellers. Groups are big enough for a proper party atmosphere, typically between 40 and 120 people a night, and guides stay with the group to keep things friendly and safe.

One of the practical advantages is access. Ticket holders walk straight past the queues into some of Paceville's larger clubs, and the clubs rotate, with Nordic, Native and Tokyo among those named. Because the line-up can change, you will not always visit the same venues, so treat any list as a guide rather than a promise.

Tickets and what you get

Every ticket includes entry to the three bars and two clubs plus your drinks. The Regular ticket costs €20 per person and covers the classic route with five drinks. Step up to VIP and the drink count rises: The Night Owl is €30 for seven drinks, and The Legend is a Super VIP ticket at €40 with ten drinks.

Three packages add an hour of open bar. The Free Pour is a Regular crawl with an extra hour of open bar at €50. The High Roller combines VIP, seven drinks and the open bar hour for €60, and The Untouchable adds ten drinks and the open bar hour for €70. For groups, birthdays and stag or hen nights there is also Pub Crawl Deluxe, a bottle service package at €300.

The Night Owl is the most popular choice, a sensible middle option for first-timers who want a few more drinks without paying for the open bar. Prices are per person, and the Deluxe package is a single price.

When it runs and how big the groups are

From October to February the crawl runs Tuesday to Saturday. From March to September it runs every day, which makes it easy to fit into a week's holiday. Private crawls can be arranged on any night of the year, so a group travelling at a quiet time can still have its own evening.

High season fills quickly. Spaces are limited each night and the crawl frequently sells out, so it pays to book a few days ahead. The company began in 2023 and has welcomed more than 30,000 guests.

Stag, hen and birthday parties

Booking, age rules and policies

You must be of legal drinking age in Malta, which is 18, and venues may ask for ID. The operator asks guests to drink responsibly and the guides are there to keep the night enjoyable.

All sales are final, because late cancellations cause real problems for a party operator. Refunds are offered only when the operator itself cancels an event for logistical or weather reasons.
