Princess Fantasia is a pampering party venue for girls run by Curtain Raiser Malta, the children's entertainment company based in Luqa. It hosts spa birthday parties and themed celebrations in an air-conditioned, designer space, with three packages built around mini facials, nail painting, make-up and hand massages. Booking questions can go through the VisitMalta.co.uk enquiry form on this page.

For a young girl who loves dressing up, a birthday at Princess Fantasia is built around being pampered. The venue is a stylish, designer room, fully air-conditioned, where small guests put on spa robes, have their nails painted and enjoy a mini facial before the celebrations begin. It belongs to Curtain Raiser Malta, a children's entertainment company that has organised parties and family events on the island since 2002.

Families who have recently moved over from the UK, or who are visiting with children, will find it listed in our directory of children's activities in Malta, alongside play centres and other ideas for younger visitors.

Three spa party packages

Every package covers eight guests, and the birthday girl comes free on top of that number. The Royal Spa Party runs for two hours and costs €390 plus VAT. The Royal Glam Spa Party lasts two and a half hours at €450 plus VAT, and the Ultimate Princess Spa Party gives three hours for €520 plus VAT. On the two longer packages, each additional child costs €30 plus VAT.

Remember that VAT is added to each of these figures, so it makes sense to ask for the full total when you request a date and confirm how many guests you expect. Parties can be scheduled to start at any point from 8am until 11pm, which makes an after-school or weekend evening slot easy to arrange.

What the children enjoy

The treatments are gentle and designed for children. Each guest has a mini facial and her nails painted, princess-style make-up finished with sparkling face gems, and a hand massage while wrapped in a spa robe. Every child gets a headband to keep, whichever package you choose. The Royal Glam and Ultimate packages add hairstyling, so the girls leave with their hair done as well.

Beyond the pampering, the venue also arranges food and drinks, entertainment and themed decoration, and parents can ask for a celebration to be customised. If you want extra decorations or favours of your own, A&B's Party Paradise sells party supplies, and Above Catering is an option for a larger family gathering afterwards.

About Curtain Raiser Malta

Curtain Raiser has more than twenty years of experience in children's entertainment. Today it runs two venues: Princess Fantasia, and Ċippitatu Pre+Teens Zone, a lively space for older children with gaming technology, arcade games, rides and party areas. Alongside the venues it hires out bouncy castles, rides and over 40 giant games, and it stages corporate events, graduations, teen birthdays and holy communion and confirmation parties. Its venues are private, clean and fully insured, and certified animators and event supervisors look after the setup, supervision, catering and tidying away.

Planning a bigger corporate or family occasion? the event planners at 242.group appear in our directory too, and the 97Notes entertainment venue is another place to consider for grown-up celebrations.

Booking a party

Booking follows three simple steps: choose your package or theme, secure the date, then turn up and enjoy it. When you get in touch, have ready the party date, the number of children, a preferred start time and any special requests, such as a favourite colour scheme or a particular theme. The events team then checks availability and confirms the booking, and you can also reach them through WhatsApp. The only thing families are asked to bring is the birthday cake.

If you are combining a party with a family holiday, our guides to where to stay in Malta and things to do in Malta help with the rest of the trip, and parents relocating can start with our guide to relocating to Malta from the UK.

To ask about a date or a package, fill in the VisitMalta.co.uk enquiry form on this page and we will send your message on to Curtain Raiser Malta.
