Xerri's Garden Centre calls itself the leading garden centre, nursery and landscape design business in Gozo, with more than 20 years of experience behind it. It has a shop on Triq Borg Ġeritu in Victoria, an outlet in Xagħra and a nursery in Xlendi valley, and it covers almost everything a Gozitan home or visitor's villa might need outdoors, from shrubs to sun loungers to a bouquet for a birthday.

Plants, nursery stock and garden supplies

The Xlendi valley nursery carries the biggest range of outdoor plants in Gozo, with plants, shrubs and trees of all sizes. The shop adds indoor plants, fresh herbs, compost, fertilisers and pesticides, and pots, planters and underplates. Garden furniture, artificial turf, spas and fountains complete the outdoor range; the fountains are imported directly from Spain.

The team is always looking for new stockists for the Victoria and Xagħra outlets, so the shelves change over time. Furniture is pitched as affordable but good quality, and a visit to the shop is a handy way to see what is in stock before you commit to a design for a terrace or garden.

Fresh flowers, weddings and occasions

Flowers are imported every week, and bouquets are delivered across Gozo every day. The range includes boxed arrangements, hand-tied bouquets, roses in many colours, funeral and sympathy bouquets and cemetery arrangements. Printed prices include €65 for a luxury velour tub of premium flowers and €60 for a white version. Colours can vary with availability.

The florists work with all kinds of occasions and budgets, from Valentine's Day roses to sympathy gifts, and the aim is to cater for any occasion at any budget. The gift boxes come in several colours, and the roses are sold in many shades too.

Landscaping design, installation and maintenance

The landscaping team is trained to shape each space to suit its surroundings, whether that is a small garden makeover or a large contract. The process begins with a consultation at your home at a time that suits you. You explain your ideas, receive a cost estimate that fits your budget and, if you go ahead, a custom landscape plan listing the plants and materials.

Pet supplies, visiting and delivery

Xerri's also stocks pet needs: dog food, cat food including Royal Canin, bird food, cat litter and accessories. Gozo deliveries are free for orders over a minimum spend of €25, and Malta deliveries are offered at certain times of year, so ask when you order.
