What the centre offers
The team's priorities are helping you discover the underwater world, helping you progress in your training and sending you home with good memories. Viv and the instructors are known for their customer service, and the centre aims to keep a personal touch even as a Career Development Centre.
Courses on the website are grouped as learn to dive, kids diving, continuing education, speciality courses, professional courses and technical courses. Technical diving is handled by the sister operation Techwise Malta. There are also dive packages for a diving holiday, boat diving trips, a guide to the dive sites, hotel recommendations and a virtual tour of the centre. If you would like to compare options before booking, other centres in the directory include Aquatica scuba diving centre and Corsair Diving centre.
Free nitrox, equipment and gas
One feature that stands out is that enriched air nitrox is included at no extra charge for all recreational divers, on every PADI course and every recreational dive. Nitrox gives longer no decompression limits and shorter surface intervals, so you can spend more time on wrecks and reefs. If you are not yet certified, you can take the PADI Enriched Air Nitrox course at cost price and then dive on nitrox free for the rest of the week.
Equipment is included in the PADI recreational courses. For dive packages the centre can supply full equipment, or cylinders, weights and nitrox if you bring your own kit, and you can rent anything from a mask and snorkel to a complete set. Trying the gear first is a sensible way to decide what to buy.
Behind the scenes, Bauer compressors deliver clean air at up to 300 bar, and all staff are certified gas blenders. Recreational cylinders come in 10, 12 and 15 litres with blends up to 40%, with smaller stage cylinders for technical divers and a full helium facility for trimix.
Courses and printed prices
Speciality courses are priced individually. Printed fees include €340 for Deep Diver, Night Diver and Wreck Diver, €275 for Boat Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy and Underwater Photography, €195 for Enriched Air Nitrox and Oxygen Provider, €290 for Underwater Navigator, and €495 for Sidemount Diver. Others include Search and Recovery at €325, Drysuit Diver at €325, Dive Against Debris at €205 and DSMB at €245.

Smaller steps include the EFR Instructor at €180 and the Master Scuba Diver Trainer at €380.
