About Investate

Investate grew out of the idea that people should be able to protect and grow their financial future with clear guidance at every stage of life. Its founders come from insurance, banking and investment backgrounds and began working in the insurance industry in 2017. Pensions and retirement planning

IVApension is a unit-linked personal pension plan: your contributions buy into investment funds, and at retirement the pot pays out as a partial lump sum plus a pension drawdown. Premiums start at €25 per month, and extra payments can be added at any time. Money placed in the Pension Sub-Account can attract a 25% tax credit on up to €3,000 a year, subject to the regulations, while savings above that can sit in an Access Sub-Account within the same plan. The Maltese government tax rebate on the plan is up to €750, though tax credits depend on individual circumstances and the rules may change.

You can choose between investment strategies and switch later, or pick the LifeSteps Option, which gradually reduces exposure to sharp market falls as retirement approaches. For employers, IVAoccupational is a workplace pension that gives staff a tax-efficient way to save, with flexible contributions and professional investment management. Savings, protection and insurance

For saving, IVAsave is a with-profits regular premium plan from €40 per month that offers capital protection, after charges, if held to maturity, with the option to add level or decreasing term cover. IVAinvest is the single premium version for a lump sum. Parents can talk to the team about child savings through IVAsave or IVAinfinity, and a family plan can begin at €50 per month.

Protection includes IVAsecure life insurance and IVAprotect, a decreasing term policy designed for mortgages, where the cover falls each year in step with the loan and costs less than level cover. Businesses can offer group life cover as an employee benefit, giving staff and their families financial security and showing that the employer cares about their welfare. Single premium solutions suit anyone with a lump sum who prefers one payment to a monthly commitment, and each plan has its own key information document and policy booklet setting out the terms. Investate also arranges motor, home, HomeLet, travel, health and dental, pet and boat insurance, along with commercial cover for businesses.
