KBL Services

KBL Services is an HVAC contractor based in Naxxar. HVAC stands for heating, ventilation and air conditioning, the systems that keep a building comfortable through Malta's hot summers and mild, damp winters. The company has been working since 2008 and describes the job simply: professional, reliable and safe contracting for homes and businesses across the Maltese islands. It is listed among the air conditioning companies in Malta in our directory.

Its range covers installation, maintenance, repairs, inspections and emergency service for both air-conditioning and air ventilation systems, and the projects it takes on run from a single room to large commercial premises.

Air-conditioning installation and VRF systems

For domestic customers, KBL Services installs air conditioning that is efficient and reliable, and clients are the priority. For larger sites it offers industrial HVAC installation, including VRF systems, which are Variable Refrigerant Flow units that serve many rooms from a single outdoor unit and are common in offices, hotels and apartment blocks.

The company supplies and installs both VRF and domestic systems, and carries out repairs and servicing around the islands. It uses quality materials, tools and skilled labour, backed by experience built up over the years. A rooftop photograph on its site shows a row of large outdoor units of the type used in commercial buildings. If you are weighing up a move or a new property, our Malta relocation guide explains what to expect from the island's housing and utilities.

Maintenance, inspections and repairs

Looking after an air conditioner involves more than changing the filter now and then. KBL Services offers filter maintenance and replacement customised to each system, regular inspections that keep a cooling system safer and the indoor environment healthier, and repairs on many types and brands of air conditioner. If you need a quick fix, the team can help.

Regular servicing matters in a climate with long cooling seasons. Our Malta weather guide shows how hot the summer months are, which is when a breakdown is most unwelcome. Emergency service is part of the offer, and the company also handles inspections to catch problems before the weather turns, so it is worth contacting the company early if a unit fails or starts to perform badly.

Ventilation and extraction

Good ventilation is vital in homes and commercial buildings alike. KBL Services has developed its own ventilation techniques to provide controlled but complete airflow in all conditions, and it fits extraction systems for premises that need to remove stale air, heat or fumes.

Malta is windy and its weather is changeable, so roof vents can be damaged from time to time, and leaks can follow that affect the roofing system. The company works to keep insulation efficient and rooms at a stable, controlled temperature. Its projects page features the Rabat Catacombs, one of the island's historic sites near Mdina and Rabat. Visitors staying in the area can browse hotels in Mdina and Rabat.

Where to find KBL Services

The company works from Midland Micro Enterprise Park on Triq Burmarrad in Naxxar, in the centre of the island, close to the main roads towards Mosta and the north. Naxxar is a convenient base, with good road links, for reaching sites across Malta, and for tourists arriving from the UK our guide to flights to Malta and things to do in Malta help with planning a visit.

Business owners starting up on the island may want company formation and tax advice first, which our featured partner CLA Malta provides, together with the Malta tax guide for UK nationals. The company offers a free estimate on request, so you can compare options before committing to any work.
