Mecca Marine

Mecca Marine is a marine centre on Triq San Pawl in St Paul's Bay, in the north of Malta, selling boats, engines and the equipment that goes with them. It is the marine arm of Mecca Enterprises, a family-owned import and distribution firm established in 1964 by Paul Chetcuti. For a UK buyer moving to the islands or a resident looking for a first boat, it is a one-stop shop for the boat itself, the engine, the trailer and the safety gear.

The wider group buys from over a hundred suppliers across Europe, America and Asia, and the team attends international boat fairs as well as the Malta International Boat Show and the Valletta Boat Show. Boats and yachts

The boat range is organised by layout. Sundeck and walkaround boats have wide, open decks for relaxing, sunbathing and day trips. Open and centre console boats are the versatile choice for fishing, watersports and family outings. Cabin cruisers add a cabin for weekends away, and pilot house and weekender boats give sheltered space for longer days at sea.

Inflatable craft are a large part of the catalogue, from small tenders and dinghies to rigid inflatable boats. Engines, trailers and accessories

Mecca Marine stocks Mercury outboards from small portable motors up to large Verado models, along with MerCruiser inboard engines and MotorGuide electric outboards. Mercury service kits and marine oils are available for maintenance. Certified Mercury technicians handle servicing.

Boat trailers range from compact road trailers for dinghies to heavy twin-axle trailers, and there are trailers for jet skis. Accessories include boat covers, outboard covers, marine audio, VHF radios and oils, so you can kit out a new boat from one shop.

Boat yard, registration and getting in touch
