Rabat Garage is a local car rental company on Kola Xara Street in Rabat, the town that sits directly beside the walled city of Mdina. It hires out cars, a wedding car and a minibus, handles pickups and drop-offs at Malta International Airport, and operates a taxi service that runs through the night. Cars, wedding car and minibus

Two everyday cars are offered. Group A is a Hyundai Getz, a Kia or similar, with seats for four passengers, space for two suitcases and a manual gearbox, at €23 a day. Group B is a Peugeot 208, a Renault Clio or similar, taking five passengers and three suitcases, also manual, at €26 a day. Both are five-door cars with air conditioning, central locking and airbags.

For special occasions there is a wedding car for four passengers at €180 a day, and for groups a minibus carrying 18 or 21 passengers with an automatic gearbox at €160 a day. All prices are per day, and your rental quote spells out the full cost at the time of booking, with no hidden extras. Airport pickup, transfers and taxis

Rabat Garage collects and returns cars at Malta International Airport, which saves arriving visitors a trip across the island to the garage. Airport transfers are available at any hour, and a separate taxi service operates 24 hours a day, which is useful for early departures. Popular pickup areas include Luqa, Birżebbuġa, Baħrija, Attard, Buleben and the Catamaran Terminal. Delivery of the car to your property is free for rentals of at least five days. Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before pickup, and the business offers round-the-clock roadside assistance and a fair fuel policy.
