Lessons for beginners

Beginner tuition is the school's speciality. It has developed its own teaching method for windsurfing and SUP, and 99% of students are moving around on the boards after only twenty minutes of tuition in the sea. All instructors are fully certified, and safety equipment and buoyancy aids are included in the courses.

Wing foiling is described as the fastest growing wind sport on the planet. The school offers one-hour and two-hour wing foiling lessons and a wing foiling course made up of three lessons of two hours each. Windsurfing has a taster lesson, a single lesson and a three-day beginner course. SUP options include general lessons designed for beginners and SUP surfing lessons that take you beyond the breaking waves to ride a wave.

Equipment is chosen to suit beginners, with more advanced kit available for people who want to progress. Everything depends on the weather, so keep your plans flexible and talk to the school about timing.

Mega SUP and SUP tours

The Mega SUP is a giant board for groups: one board carries up to six adults or eight children, and with two boards available groups can race, play games or head out on a journey together. It is offered for one, two or three hours, with a three-hour option that explores the coast, beaches and caves. The activity suits friends, families, birthday parties, stag and hen groups, and corporate and school groups, and is open from the age of nine. Group size runs from about six up to sixteen, so check the numbers for your party.

Printed prices for the Mega SUP are €20.00 per adult for one hour, €30.00 for two hours and €40.00 for three hours. Children aged 9 to 12 pay €15.00, €20.00 and €25.00 for the same durations. Boards and all safety equipment are included.

A separate three-hour SUP tour explores the coast on individual boards, with instruction for first-timers and a place for experienced paddlers too. It is for up to twelve people from age eight, at €45.00 per adult and €35.00 per child aged 8 to 12, with boards, paddle and life jacket included.
