The Dressing Room

The Dressing Room is a boutique for women's fashion in Naxxar, a village in the north of Malta's main island, set on Triq il-Buzjett. It is a family-run business that opened on 18 October 2017, with the aim of bringing a classic, versatile and individual style to Malta. Customers can visit in person six days a week or browse the online store, which offers a shopping cart, login accounts and restock notifications for sold-out items.

The boutique and its approach

The founders wanted to open a boutique that gives each customer individual attention, which is the feeling that sets it apart from busy high street shops. Styles are chosen from a range of different brands, so the boutique can pick what it considers the best from each label rather than stocking a single line. At the same time it follows current trends, with new pieces arriving regularly, and its online menu has a New Arrivals page for the latest stock.

The Léontine Floral Velvet Maxi Dress comes in mocha and navy with a velvet floral pattern and twisted waist, and the Apolline Tie-Neck Maxi Dress is a flowing style with balloon sleeves, available in khaki and black.

Sizes and prices

Many of the dresses are cut as one size that fits up to a UK 14 or 16, and this is stated on each product page, so check the listing before you buy. The boutique opens on Monday to Friday from 10am to 7pm, on Saturday from 10am to 3pm and on Sunday from 10am to 1pm, with possible changes on public holidays and feast days.
