The centre is designed as an indoor destination rather than a traditional Maltese high street. The tenant mix changes, so anyone travelling for a particular shop or product should check the mall’s current directory before setting out.

The Point currently publishes shopping-centre opening hours of 10:00 to 19:30 every day. Individual restaurants, supermarkets, seasonal events and public-holiday trading may operate differently. The safest approach is to check the official website on the day of travel, particularly around Christmas, Easter and Maltese public holidays.

The Point is a strong choice for visitors who want recognisable fashion and lifestyle brands, indoor shopping during very hot or wet weather, or a practical retail stop while staying in Sliema. Its central location also makes it useful for travellers who do not have a hire car.

It may be less suitable for visitors looking primarily for independent craft shops, traditional markets or historic shopping streets. Those experiences are better combined with Valletta, local village centres or artisan-focused destinations elsewhere in Malta.
