Bubble Beep

Bubble Beep is a small web agency in Birkirkara that designs and builds websites and then helps them get found. Its pitch is simple: pick only the services you need, know exactly what you are buying and avoid overspending. The company serves clients throughout the world as well as in Malta, which makes it a practical choice for UK owners who run a Maltese venture remotely.

On VisitMalta.co.uk the business appears in our directories of IT companies in Malta and marketing agencies in Malta, reflecting the way it combines development with search and social marketing.

Web design: the four stages

Every design project follows four steps: preparation, discussion, layout creation and approval. In practice that means the team learns what the business does, talks through goals and preferences, produces the layout and then waits for the client to sign it off before the site is built. The approach keeps designs clean and easy to use, with attention to user experience as well as appearance.

Three types of site are on offer. E-commerce design focuses on online shops that encourage visitors to buy. Business and corporate design gives a company a credible home for the information that prospective clients look for. Landing page design produces focused pages for campaigns and enquiries. Anyone planning a company launch will find the wider picture in our Malta relocation guide.

Because the work is written for each client, the finished site can include only what the business needs, from a simple brochure layout to a full catalogue with checkout. Sites are built to look right on phones as well as desktops, which matters when most visitors search on mobile.

Development, shops and booking systems

Behind the design sits custom code written for the client rather than an off-the-shelf theme. Bubble Beep handles both the front end, which visitors see, and the back end, which stores and processes the information. E-commerce development covers online shops, while business and corporate development adds the features a company needs to run its site.

The portfolio shows the range: travel blogs, a boat rental site, a mobile-first restaurant site, a diving centre site, a restaurant online booking system, a take-away ordering system and a landing page design example. That makes the agency a natural fit for hospitality and leisure firms, such as the dive operators 7R Diving Malta and Abyss Diving Club Bugibba, or boat operators like Adventure Cruises Malta, who rely on their sites for bookings.

SEO and digital marketing

Digital marketing is sold as a set of separate services that can be combined. They include an SEO audit that studies site structure and technical problems, keyword research to find the phrases your customers use, on-page optimisation so each page meets search engine requirements, and off-page work that looks at links and social signals. Competitor analysis shows how rivals promote themselves, and page speed optimisation makes pages load faster.

Local search optimisation is aimed at businesses that serve a neighbourhood or region, such as a restaurant or activity provider. Campaigns are monitored, tested and improved over time, and the agency can also take on social media marketing, search engine marketing and advertising. A restaurant or tour operator catering to visitors looking for things to do in Malta or a day at the Blue Lagoon on Comino can use these tools to reach them.

The agency's own description is that it knows how search engines work and aims to help a client's pages rank higher, with each service priced separately so that you can start small and add more later.
