Beauty Team is a beauty salon and skin clinic on Triq il-Kbira in Mosta, offering facials, laser hair removal, lashes, brows, nails, massage, hairdressing and a small spa with steam room and hammam. Prices for many treatments are published, and enquiries go through the VisitMalta.co.uk form on this page.

Beauty Team is a salon and skin clinic in Mosta, the town best known for its great rotunda church and a short drive from Mdina and the northern beaches. Antonella Sammut Vella opened it in 2003, and in 2020 she went into a joint venture with Felicia Vella, who holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Nursing. Since then the salon has taken a more clinical and therapeutic approach, alongside the traditional beauty menu. It is listed in our spas in Malta directory.

Facials and skin treatments

The facial menu is organised by skin need: moisturising and repair, soothing for sensitive skin, purifying for combination, oily or acne-prone skin, detoxifying, brightening, energising, plumping and firming, and a lifting facial for the oval of the face. Prices range from €31 for an eye-contour treatment to €91 for an exfoliating triple peel, with most between €51 and €81.

Other skin services include microdermabrasion and an ultrasonic facial from €51, booster facials at €46, facial cupping at €11 and derma rolling at €10.50. The salon also lists derma needling, PRP, Cosmelan and dermal fillers, for which there is a consultation fee of €25.50, deducted from the treatment if you go ahead. Ask the team what each involves and whether it suits you.

Hair removal, lashes, brows and nails

Laser hair removal comes with a free consultation and patch test. Face areas start from €16, underarms are €26, a half leg is €51, a full leg €76, a Brazilian €41 and a full body one year package is €401. Waxing starts from €3 and threading from €6.

For eyes, there are lash lifts at €36, lash extensions from €11, HD brows from €26, brow lamination at €51 and microblading. Nails include manicures and pedicures from €16, and Roby gel extensions. Make-up application is €31 and spray tanning €31.

Body, hair and podiatry

Massages start from €50 and a body scrub from €21. Body work includes anti-cellulite sessions from €30.50, stretch mark treatments from €50.50 and body cavitation sessions from €45.50. The salon also offers a spa capsule from €30.

Hairdressing covers cuts from €7, colours and highlights from €11, blow-dries from €6, upstyles from €16, hair treatments from €11 and keratin treatments from €81. A podiatry service, starting from €15, deals with conditions such as corns, calluses, bunions and fungal nails, and includes insoles.

Steam room and hammam rituals

A small spa area offers a steam room at €30, a Traditional Turkish Hammam at €150, a Cleopatra Hammam at €180, a Water Bed Ritual at €150 and a Japanese Head Spa at €35. These rituals suit visitors who want something longer than a standard treatment; check availability and what each includes when you ask.

Mosta is a convenient base for the middle of the island, and our Mdina guide and things to do in Malta page suggest what to see before or after your visit. Visitors staying elsewhere can plan the journey with our guide to where to stay in Malta, and our Valletta guide covers the capital.

What to expect when you visit

The approach is part beauty salon, part clinic, so a first visit often starts with a consultation. This is especially true for laser hair removal, where a free patch test is offered, and for the injectable and skin-needling treatments, where the consultation fee is credited against the treatment. Bring a note of any skin conditions, allergies or medication, and ask how many sessions you are likely to need, because laser work is spaced over weeks, with facial hair sessions about four weeks apart and body hair every six to eight weeks.

The long list of services also makes it practical to combine them. A visitor might book a facial and a massage on the same day, or add brow lamination and a manicure before an event, and ask the team to line the appointments up so that you are not waiting between them.
