Innovative Greens

F. Zammit Garden Centre is one of Malta's long-established garden centres, and it now trades under the Innovative Greens name, shortened to Innogreens. The business is based on Triq Dun Rene Cilia in Qormi, a large town just inland from Valletta, and it combines a garden centre and flower shop with services for homes, offices and events.

For a UK reader the useful way to think of it is as a florist, a plant nursery and a green-spaces supplier in one. You can buy a bouquet for a birthday or an anniversary, choose plants and pots for a new home, or ask about plants for a workplace or a film set. It is listed in our directories of garden centres in Malta and florists in Malta.

A family business with more than a century of experience

Innogreens is a forward-looking green brand built on more than 100 years of horticultural and floricultural expertise through F Zammit Garden Centre. The business is now led by the new generation of the Zammit family, who pair that tradition with a modern approach to flowers, plants and green spaces.

Its guiding idea is to choose the right flowers and plants for each space, so that homes and businesses end up with balanced surroundings that make everyday life more pleasant. The aim is a considered match between plants and the room or building they will live in. If you are comparing other local sellers, Alistair Floral Design is another florist in our directory not far away.

The flower shop and the garden centre

The flower shop is organised by occasion: romance, anniversary, birthday, newborn, funeral and sympathy, and get well soon. Seasonal collections appear too, including Valentine's arrangements and a Christmas range with festive pieces such as the Evergreen Noel planted bowl, Silent Night Bliss and White Christmas Glow. Roses, mixed bouquets and planted bowls give a choice between cut flowers that last a few days and living plants that stay on a windowsill or table long after the occasion. The online shop lists each arrangement with its price and can be sorted from lowest to highest, so you can choose within a budget.

At the garden centre and flower shop itself, customers can see newly arrived plants, modern and classic pots, vases, decorative accessories, fresh and artificial flower displays, special gifts and more. If you are planning a terrace or balcony garden, our Malta weather guide explains how the seasons run.

Moss walls, office plants and event decoration

Beyond retail, Innogreens runs professional green services. Moss walls are natural green walls designed for modern interiors, and the same team supplies business flowers tailored to different professional settings,. An office plant service provides plants for workplaces, which is useful for companies fitting out premises. If you are setting up a company, our partner CLA Malta can help with the corporate side.

The events and film decorator service turns venues and sets into themed spaces with flowers and plants. For a UK couple or organiser planning a celebration in Malta, this is a route to floral styling by a local supplier. Anyone moving to the island can also read our Malta relocation guide for the practical side of settling in.

Delivery, location and getting started

Delivery runs on weekdays. An order placed before 10.30am from Monday to Friday is delivered by 4.00pm the same day, and an order placed before midnight is delivered by 4.00pm the next day. The online shop lists arrangements with prices, and shoppers can sort by newest, name or price.

Qormi is a short drive from the capital, so a visit combines easily with the Valletta guide, and things to do in Malta and our about Malta overview cover the wider island. To ask about a bouquet, a plant, a business contract or an event, use the VisitMalta.co.uk enquiry form on this page and we will pass your message to Innovative Greens, who will reply to you directly.
