Innovative Greens

Qormi is known across Malta for its plant nurseries and growers, and Innovative Greens is one of the businesses that carries that tradition forward. The brand, often shortened to Innogreens, grew out of F Zammit Garden Centre, one of the island's longest-established garden centres, and it is now led by the next generation of the Zammit family.

It appears on VisitMalta.co.uk among the garden centres in Malta and the florists in Malta, which suits residents decorating a home as well as businesses that want flowers or greenery for their premises.

Flowers, plants and gifts

The garden centre and flower shop offer a changing range of plants, modern and classic pots, vases, decorative accessories, fresh and artificial flower displays and special gifts. The aim is to choose the right flowers and plants for each space, creating balanced surroundings that improve everyday living and well-being.

The online shop is organised by occasion: romance, anniversary, birthday, newborn, funeral and sympathy, and get well soon. Bouquets are named individually and listed with their prices in euros, from smaller seasonal arrangements and planted bowls to large rose bouquets and a dozen sweetheart roses. Seasonal ranges appear at Christmas and Valentine's Day, and prices and ranges change through the year. Checking the public price list online before you order helps you set a budget, and you can sort it by newest arrivals, name or price.

Garden essentials sit alongside the flowers, so one visit can cover a bouquet for a host, a new houseplant and a pot to put it in. Fresh and artificial displays are both available, which helps when a space gets little light or when you want something that lasts.

Moss walls, office plants and events

Beyond the shop, Innovative Greens designs for businesses. Moss walls are natural green walls made for modern interiors, and the business supplies B2B flowers tailored to professional settings. Office plant services provide professional greenery for workplaces, a simple way to soften a meeting room or reception area in Malta's hotter months.

The team also decorates events and film sets, transforming spaces for celebrations and productions. For a venue in the capital, our Valletta guide and the page on the Upper Barrakka Gardens show the kinds of historic settings where fresh flowers and greenery are in demand.

Delivery and visiting

Weekday delivery is straightforward. Place an order before 10.30 am from Monday to Friday and it is delivered by 4.00 pm the same day. Orders placed before midnight are delivered by 4.00 pm on the next weekday. This is handy if you are sending flowers to someone in Malta from the UK, or arranging them for a hotel stay or a family event.

Delivery is available on weekdays only, so allow for that when timing flowers for a weekend celebration, and order early for busy dates such as Valentine's Day or Christmas, when the shop's seasonal ranges are popular. If you would rather choose in person, the garden centre in Qormi lets you see the plants, pots and arrangements before you buy. Qormi is close to the middle of the island, convenient for the old capital described in our Mdina guide.

Living with plants in Malta

Choosing plants for a Maltese home is partly a matter of climate, and the shop's focus on matching the right plant to each space is a real help here. Bright light, hot summers and mild winters suit some species and not others, so our Malta weather guide is a good companion if you are planning a balcony or terrace. People moving here may also find our relocation guide and our overview about Malta useful, and visitors can find ideas for days out in things to do in Malta.

To ask Innovative Greens about flowers, plants or a business service, use the VisitMalta.co.uk enquiry form on this page and we will pass your message to the team.
