Mvintage Sliema sits inside The Point Shopping Mall at Tigné Point, the waterfront development at the tip of the Sliema peninsula, facing Valletta across the harbour. The brand's idea is simple: each piece should be a small reminder of the confidence and individuality of the woman who wears it. That shows in the range. Birthstone collections give every month a colour, from charms and adjustable bracelets to dangling earrings, and Pearl designs offer an understated alternative. Heritage fans can look at the Kavallieri line, which reinterprets traditional Maltese symbols.

Engraving is a speciality. Pendants, bracelets and a sliding locket necklace can all be engraved, and the brand does not charge for engraving on personalised gifts. Because engraved items are made to order, they cannot be returned or exchanged, so spell-check your wording before you confirm it.

Gifts are grouped by occasion and by who they are for: birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, confirmation, holy communion, a new mum, a partner, a teacher or a grandmother. Spending bands start under €29.99 and rise above €150, so there is something at most budgets. Quality, care and warranty

Stainless steel in grade 316L forms the base of the jewellery, finished with gold or rose gold plating, enamel, semi-precious stones and handmade glass. The plating is delicate, which is why the brand advises keeping pieces apart, avoiding perfume, lotions and chlorine, and cleaning only with a soft cloth. A 12-month warranty applies from the date of purchase.

Returns follow clear rules. Unused items can go back for a refund within 15 days or be exchanged within 30 days, with the customer paying return postage unless the item is faulty, damaged or wrong. Refunds go back to the original payment method.

A piercing service is available at the Iklin and Shoreline stores, so ask in your enquiry whether the Sliema shop offers the same service rather than assuming it does.
