24/7 Fitness Club

24/7 Fitness Club Żebbuġ is one of four gyms run by the same Maltese company, and it sits on Triq MRO Frank Galea in the west of the island. Żebbuġ is a traditional village a few minutes from Rabat and Mdina, so the club works well for anyone staying in the quieter, historic west who still wants a full gym, a class timetable and the freedom to train at odd hours.

A company with two decades behind it

The 24/7 brand has been managing gyms and leisure facilities in Malta for more than twenty years. It points to several firsts on the island: round-the-clock opening, physiotherapists on the staff, free group classes and a public commitment to training ethics. Four clubs are now in operation, at Ta' Qali, Mellieħa, San Ġwann and Żebbuġ.

The company's stated values are professionalism, flexibility, commitment and a focus on clients, and its mission is to make a positive difference to people's lives through realistic goals and plenty of encouragement. Its slogan, Be Your Own Hero, runs through the club's merchandise as well as its messaging.

Membership and prices

One membership opens the doors of all four clubs, which is handy if you are touring the island and want to train in more than one area. The club is open Monday to Sunday and scheduled group classes are included in the fee. The printed prices are €70 for one month, €190 for three months, €290 for six months and €440 for a year.

Young people born between 2004 and 2009 can claim a free one-year membership through a current offer, and members receive €50 off trips booked with a partner travel company. Gift cards can be bought online or at the reception desk of any club, which makes a useful present if you have friends living in Malta.

Classes at the Żebbuġ club

The timetable at this club mixes early starts with evening sessions. Monday brings GetCharged at 6:15 in the morning, then HYROX training at 6:00 pm and Circuit Strength at 7:00 pm. Tuesday has Cyclination at 6:00 pm and Core Buster at 7:00 pm, Wednesday has Glutes and Gains followed by HYROX training, and Thursday opens with Cyclination Sprint at 6:15 am before HYROX training and a second Core Buster in the evening. Timetables change, so treat these as a guide.

HYROX is a fitness race that combines running with functional stations, and it is clearly popular across the 24/7 clubs. Shop, nutrition and kit

The company also runs an online shop selling protein tubs and drinks, protein snacks, supplements, nut butters and pre-workouts, with brands including Battery Nutrition, ZOE and PROTEINI.SI. Orders above €50 qualify for free delivery. Branded T-shirts and sleeveless tops carry slogans such as Stronger Than Yesterday and Squat. Press. Repeat.
