PowerYogaWorld is a dedicated yoga studio at Springfield Court on Triq Jean de la Cassiere in St Paul's Bay, Malta. It teaches Power, Aerial, Ashtanga, Iyengar, SUP and AcroYoga, plus classes for children, private lessons and teacher training. Send your enquiry through the VisitMalta.co.uk form on this page and we will pass it to the studio.

PowerYogaWorld is a purpose-built yoga centre in St Paul's Bay, in the north of Malta, with more than 150 square metres of floor space dedicated to yoga alone. It is a studio designed for yoga rather than a gym or aerobics hall, which means the space, equipment and teaching are arranged around the practice. Classes run for every level, from complete beginners upwards.

On VisitMalta.co.uk the studio is listed with the island's yoga studios in Malta and meditation in Malta. This page covers the styles taught, the November 2026 workshop series, the shop and how to arrange a visit from the UK.

The studio and its teachers

The centre is fully equipped for a wide range of styles, with experienced, qualified instructors who have trained around the world. It also has the apparatus for Iyengar yoga, and it is Malta's only fully equipped aerial yoga centre, with twelve hammocks.

The aim is variety: from more fitness-based practice through to spiritual and meditative work, so that newcomers can sample different styles and settle on what suits their lifestyle and goals. Traditional styles such as Hatha, Ashtanga and Vinyasa sit alongside Iyengar, which the studio introduced to the island, and modern styles including Power Yoga, SUP Yoga, Aerial Yoga and AcroYoga, which it has also brought to Malta.

Yoga styles and classes

The menu of styles covers Power Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, SUP Yoga and AcroYoga. There are also classes called Yoga for Kids, private classes and a yoga teacher training programme, which are useful if you want one-to-one attention or are planning a qualification during an extended stay.

SUP Yoga is practised on stand-up paddle boards, which makes it a natural fit for a seaside base. If you want to get out on the water as well, Amazing Boat Trips Malta is a tour operator listed in the directory less than a kilometre away. Classes can be found on the studio's schedule pages, which list timetables for the St Paul's Bay studio and a separate San Gwann schedule.

Workshops with Amir, November 2026

A guest teacher, Amir, returns to Malta in November 2026 for four workshops that draw on yoga, breathwork, meditation and tantra. Each workshop includes 30 minutes of questions afterwards. On Friday 6 November from 18:30 to 20:30 comes The 4 Aces, on awareness, self-authority, autonomy and authenticity. Saturday 7 November has two sessions: Kaizen Medizen from 10:30 to 12:30, with guided meditation and soundscapes, and the breathwork masterclass Take a Deep Breath from 18:30 to 20:30, on Kundalini yoga breathing and pranayama.

On Sunday 8 November, The Divine Romance runs from 10:30 to 12:30 and explores the five pillars of Kundalini and Kriya Yoga: pranayama, mudra, bandhas, asana and meditation.

Prices fall as you add sessions: one workshop is €60, two are €110, three are €150 and all four are €180. Private consultations are available to help you choose which sessions suit you.

The shop and planning a visit

PowerYogaWorld also has an online shop with yoga mats, props, books and clothing. Mats range from €30 to €45, blocks and straps are priced from €9, and a meditation bench is €50. Books include Light on Yoga at €25.

St Paul's Bay is a resort area, so if you are building a holiday around classes, see our guide to hotels in Qawra and St Paul's Bay and the overview of where to stay in Malta. The directory also lists Abyss Diving Club Bugibba, a dive centre close by, and the things to do in Malta guide, best beaches in Malta and Malta weather guide help with the rest of the week.

The studio's opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:00am to 9:00pm, and it is closed on Sundays. To ask about a class or a workshop, use the VisitMalta.co.uk enquiry form on this page and we will pass your message to the studio.
