Events at Villa Mdina

The villa is used for three main kinds of event: weddings, private celebrations such as milestone birthdays and anniversaries, and corporate receptions. Busy Bee catering and how planning works

Busy Bee traces its roots back to 1933 and today caters from around 8,000 square metres of purpose-built production space, which it uses to serve weddings, private events and corporate functions across Malta. Alongside catering, the group runs coffee shops, an online shop, manufacturing and training.

Planning follows four steps. First the team listens: who the guests are, what the budget looks like and what the event needs to achieve. Next comes a round of ideas on format, menus, décor and how the day will flow. That leads to a written proposal with menu choices, drinks packages, service style and logistics, plus a clear quote.
