Antes Insurance Brokers is the largest insurance broker in Malta, with a head office in the Central Business District of Birkirkara and a branch in Victoria, on the island of Gozo. Who Antes is

Antes began as a merger between two leading brokers, FirstUnited Insurance Brokers Limited and Island Insurance Brokers Limited, which joined in 2021 under the new name. The firm is based in Malta with a European reach and combines local knowledge with access to international markets. Kevin Galea Pace is Managing Director.

Its approach is built on being local, working with the client and staying transparent in an industry that can be confusing. The firm tailors products to specific requirements, and because clients should not pay more than they have to, it accesses a wide set of insurers and suppliers so the customer can choose the product and supplier that suits. Personal insurance and travel schemes

Individuals can ask for personal insurance quotes and report claims through the website. The firm also runs travel insurance schemes, including a Bank of Valletta travel insurance scheme with its own extension terms. Speed and technology are part of the personal service, which blends local knowledge with efficient online tools. Business insurance and specialist cover

Antes arranges business insurance, professional indemnity, cyber insurance, directors and officers liability and group health insurance for employers. The broker will team up with a company to manage its insurance risks, and its motor fleets and corporate clients department looks after fleets and larger accounts. That department is led by Karen Zerafa, who has worked in insurance since 1996 as a broker and underwriter, joined in 2020 and became manager in 2024.
