The Maltese Mystic Yogi

The Maltese Mystic Yogi is the personal practice of Rebekah, who grew up in Malta, spent years living abroad from 1999 and is now based on the island again. She describes her work as spiritual and wellness practice rather than medical treatment, built on grace, pleasure, love, empowerment, humility, compassion, intuition and freedom. Visitors who want something reflective alongside a holiday can book in person, and UK clients can join online.

Sessions and therapies

The main services are Reiki, Kundalini Activation Process, Kundalini and Kriya yoga, somatic yoga, crystal therapy, tarot and oracle readings and a shamanic crystal sound journey. Tantra work is also offered, described as a way to explore connection and regulate the nervous system through safety, collaboration and empowerment. Rebekah also teaches Reiki and Seichem master courses and crystal therapy courses and runs sound healing, cacao ceremonies and lunar medicine circles.

About Rebekah

Rebekah describes a journey of more than 28 years of learning, teaching and self-exploration that led her towards mysticism and a respect for the metaphysical. Alongside the therapies she offers oracle, tarot and astrology readings as a psychic medium, and she is training to facilitate Bio Danza, a movement practice. She plays a drum and a range of crystalline instruments, enjoys sharing cacao with groups, makes jewellery as a hobby and likes walking and hiking in search of new places to host retreats.

Her brand grew out of a wish to hold safe, sacred spaces for self-expression and self-discovery. Tarot and oracle readings are presented as spiritual guidance for people who feel stuck, crystal therapy uses crystals and stones as a holistic practice, and Kundalini Activation is offered as a gentle process of energy alignment. Self-development is described as a path to living authentically, with mind, body and spirit seen as connected.

Retreats and community

Retreats are a growing part of the work. The Sacred Return Retreat is held in Malta, and Egypt Vision Quest retreats take the practice abroad. Workshops and events bring the Maltese Mystic Yogi community together, and a monthly newsletter keeps subscribers informed about upcoming gatherings, spiritual topics and new offerings so that people can learn practical tools for mindful living and meet others on a similar path.

For people who cannot attend in person, a one-year Self Mastery subscription costs €119 and includes monthly webinars on themes such as emotional intelligence, gratitude, inner child healing and shadow work, a monthly e-book, access to a private WhatsApp group and a personalised astrological reading.

Naxxar and opening hours

The studio is in the Star Complex in Naxxar, in the centre of the island and near Mosta and Mdina, so it fits easily into a day of sightseeing.
