F15 Training Centr is a coached CrossFit and HYROX gym at Triq l-Università in Msida, with a second site at Coal Wharf in Marsa and Paola. It offers group classes, personal training, a 24/7 gym, kids classes and nutrition coaching, starting with a free intro session. Enquiries go through the VisitMalta.co.uk form on this page.

F15 Training Centr is a coached gym in Msida, the university town at the head of Marsamxett Harbour, a few minutes from Gżira, Sliema and Valletta. It is built around CrossFit and HYROX training, taught in groups and one to one, and it has operated in Malta for more than ten years. It is listed with the other gyms in Malta in our directory, and it is a good fit for newcomers, because every member begins with a conversation with a coach rather than an induction video.

Who the gym is for

This is not a gym for everyone, and it is open about that. If you want a cheap, access-only gym where nobody asks how you are getting on, it is not designed for you. If you want support, structure and accountability, it is. It talks to beginners who feel unsure where to start, people trying to lose weight, those who want to feel stronger, busy professionals and parents who need a routine that fits real life, and people who have lost confidence in gyms. More than 2,000 members have trained here.

Coaching is the core of the model. Each new member has a dedicated coach from day one, a plan shaped around their goals, and regular check-ins and goal-review sessions. Every class is coached and scalable, and every session is open to beginners, intermediate and advanced members. Members who already train hard can ask for more strength, engine and performance work, with nutrition and metrics available for the best results.

How you start: the free intro session

Joining begins with a free, no-pressure intro session, which is one to one with a coach. You talk through your goals, your fitness, any injuries or limits, your schedule and what has not worked before. The coach then recommends a path, and you move into a guided start that teaches the movements and the system so you feel confident from day one. Onboarding is limited to ten places a month, because each newcomer receives personal attention, and the gym asks you to book early for the month you want.

The gym does not print prices. Instead, it recommends the right membership during the intro, based on your goals, schedule and budget, so ask about costs when you enquire. Most members train three to five times a week, and the coach will help you settle on a rhythm that works. Our Malta relocation guide and digital nomad guide are useful if you are moving to the island and want a gym as part of your routine.

Classes, services and timetable

Classes run from early morning to late evening on weekdays, with sessions at 6:30am, 7:30am, 12:30pm, 4:45pm, 5:50pm, 7pm and 8:10pm, and a lighter timetable on weekends. The mix includes CrossFit, which is constantly varied functional movement at high intensity, and HYROX Strength, Stamina, Baseline and Performance classes that prepare you for the fitness racing event. There are also Functional Strength, Barbell Cycling, Stamina, Gymnastics, Olympic Weightlifting, a Saturday Team Workout and CrossFit Performance for members who want to compete or train harder.

Other services include one to one personal coaching, a premium facility with round-the-clock gym access, kids classes that build confidence, coordination and healthy habits, and the F15 Nutrition Challenge. Saturday and Sunday sessions run in the morning. If a morning session is not for you, the lunchtime class at 12:30pm suits people who work nearby.

Two locations and where to stay

Msida is open now, at 58 Triq l-Università. A second site at Coal Wharf in Marsa, on the Paola border, is listed as coming soon. Both are meant to offer the same coaching and community, and most members choose whichever is closer. The Marsa and Paola area is close to the Hypogeum guide sites and the harbour towns in our Three Cities guide.

Msida is well placed for visitors staying in Sliema, so our page on hotels in Sliema and St Julian's is a good starting point. The Valletta guide, things to do in Malta, Malta weather guide and guide to where to stay in Malta will help you plan the rest of a trip around training.

To book a free intro, use the VisitMalta.co.uk enquiry form on this page and we will pass your message to F15 Training Centr.
